Kontera. The name is quite like Pantera, so it sounds promising :) Kontera is a provider of in-text advertising solutions and their flagship product is called ContextLink™. I got an email from the Kontera team that my site was approved to their ad system. I was quite surprised, since my blog does not meet their requirements. I don’t have 500,000 page impression per month (well, at least not now :D ). My blog is also just about over 1 months old and has merely 2 page impressions a day. The Death of the Salesletter by Michel FortinI just finished reading “The Death of the Salesletter” written by Michel Fortin. The article is about Web 2.0 and how it will change the way online salesletters are presented. If you have seen those long salesletters promoting “jaw-dropping secrets” you know what I’m talking about. When I saw a salesletter for the first time I was like “WOW, this must be a fantastic product since there’s so many good things written about it”. After seeing 100 salesletters I started yawning and scrolling down to see the beef and the price. I started asking myself is this worth buying? Is it too expensive? Is this available for free somewhere else? Is this just another re-write of that other guy’s product? I started to gain doubt.
